Research on semi-arid climate change

Brief introduction of research Direction:

The theoretical framework of semi-arid climate change mechanism research is established. The modulating effect of sea-land thermal difference on global land temperature increase is expounded, and the feedback mechanism of land-gas interaction and temperature increase in arid and semi-arid area is proposed. It is found that this feedback not only causes the semi-arid area to become the most significant area of global land temperature increase in the past hundred years, but also causes the accelerated expansion of global arid and semi-arid area. Some of the results were published in Nature Climate Change and selected as the cover paper.
